Madrid, March 31, 2022. – In the framework of the 20th edition of the Fira Madrid Fusió the Protected Geographical Indication Ametlla de Mallorca has had presence in various dishes prepared by the cooks of the Association of Cooks and Cooks Established in the Balearic Islands (ASCAIB). In addition, in the stand of Mallorca the IGP Ametlla de Mallorca has had presence with the visualization of the videos.
During the three days of Madrid Fusion several show cookings have been prepared where the Majorcan almond has been one of the ingredients of the dishes prepared. Thus, the chef Pintxo, has prepared a gatò with IGP almond, sobrasada de Mallorca with flakes of fleur de sel and white chocolate garnache with Oli de Mallorca.
Also, the same chef Pintxo has prepared savory torrija with flower of salt variety Sri Lanka and beet hummus with almond snow IGP.
The IGP Amellta de Mallorca has also been present at the event held by the Consell de Mallorca at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid where the chef Cati Pons prepared a brown rice seasoned with IGP Mallorcan almonds, sobrasada de Mallorca, black rice popcorn and cheese from Mallorca.
